City to begin work on new sewer project on Monday

The City of Lynnwood is scheduled to begin work on a new sewer lift station on Monday, July 27.

Lynnwood is expanding its current sewer line capacity to meet future population growth expectations and relieve pressure to the current wastewater system. The City is adding a new lift station, Lift Station 16, which will be located at 19400 56th Ave. W. The new lift station will connect to an existing flow control structure just west of the 68th Ave. W. and 204th St. SW. intersection. The project is scheduled to be completed in May 2016.

Traffic flow will be carefully managed throughout the project to minimize any impact to motorists. Trane, a leading design-build contractor as well as global provider of indoor comfort systems and services and a brand of Ingersoll Rand, will manage the project.
