Clothes for Kids annual fundraising breakfast set for March 14

clothes-for-kidsClothes For Kids announced this week that its Annual Transforming Lives Breakfast will be on March 14 at the Lynnwood Convention Center.  This year’s emcee will be Jen Mueller, sports reporter and CEO of Talk Sporty to Me.

The organization has served Snohomish County since 1984;  last year Clothes for Kids provided more than 4,044 wardrobes to low-income children.  “The fundraising breakfast helps us to fill the gaps in sizes and items that in-kind donations do not cover, helping to ensure that students receive a complete wardrobe,” according to Nancy Laird-Burris, Program Manager for Clothes For Kids.

Clothes for Kids is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that is funded completely through private dollar contributions from individuals, foundations and corporations.  One-quarter of the organization’s overall revenue comes from event-generated fundraising.

Thanks to sponsors, there is no cost for attending the breakfast; a donation will be requested.  To register or to learn more about Clothes for Kids, visit the website.
