Clothes For Kids, a Snohomish County-based nonprofit that provides clothes for school-age children in need, is holding a Winter Rummage Sale Saturday Jan. 18 at Beverly Elementary, 5221 168th St. S.W., Lynnwood, from 10 a.m.-4 pm. Featured items include books, DVDs, toys, furniture, household items, tools, baby items, jewelry, adult clothing and children’s play clothes.
The Lynnwood and Jackson High School Key Clubs have volunteered to coordinate the rummage sale, and all proceeds will benefit Clothes For Kids.
“We have a lot of adult clothing, infant clothing and some play clothing that we cannot place in the program. In addition we will be selling housewares and other items,” said Nancy Laird-Burris, Clothes for Kids Program Manager. Donations of larger items — in good working condition –will be accepted at Beverly Elementary on Friday Jan. 17 from 6-8 pm.
