Historian Bill Woodward presents “Coming Home: Baseball’s America,” a talk about baseball’s grip on America, using metaphors of hope and homecoming to trace the history of the game and our nation at 7 p.m., April 9 at Edmonds Community College’s Black Box Theatre.
The lecture is free and open to the public. Woodward’s presentation is sponsored by Humanities Washington; Arts, Culture and Civic Engagement at Edmonds CC; and Sno-Isle Libraries and is part of the Hazel Miller Conversations in the Humanities series.
