A community meeting is scheduled to discuss a level 3 sex offender living in Lynnwood.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Lynnwood Courtroom, located at 19321 44th Ave. W. on Tuesday, April 19.

Ryan Joseph Ray, 31, lives in the 5600 block of 196th Street Southwest.

According to court documents, Ray sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl when he was 17. Ray offered her money for oral sex, complimented her on her breasts then grabbed her breasts and buttocks as she tried to get out of the pool. He was sentenced to 18 months confinement.

A few years later, court documents say he approached a 57-year-old woman at a train platform and told her she was beautiful. He then asked if she wanted to have sex. She told him no, and Ray reached out and touched her breasts. Ray then exposed himself to the victim.

She walked away and stood by a group of people who were all waiting for the train. Ray then approached a younger woman. The first victim told a man standing near her what had happened, and the man chased Ray away.

Two more incidents were later reported at the train station. He was then apprehended and sentenced to 14 months incarceration.

Ray had attended Sexual Deviancy treatment from 2008 to 2010, but was terminated from the program for drug related violations.

Ray is not currently under the supervision of the Department of Corrections and is not wanted at this time. His only requirement is to register as a sex offender.
