The centerpiece of the advertising campaign is a popular music video featuring riders, employees, mechanics, bus drivers, civic leaders, celebrities, students, choirs and marching bands promoting the benefits of public transportation. The video is found online at www.communitytransit.org/movesliketransit.
“Moves Moment” invites members of the public to submit their own 10-second video showing how they “move like transit.” Everyone who submits a video will receive a commemorative “Moves Like Transit” t-shirt while quantities last, and the three videos with the most votes on Facebook will be incorporated into the official “Moves Like Transit” music video. The contest runs through Aug. 20.
