Current students and recent graduates from Edmonds School District schools are gaining work experience this summer in the district’s technology department.

Most of them are working in schools, making sure that the student computers, funded by voter-approved 2008 and 2012 Capital/Technology levies are updated and in excellent working order for the 2013-14 school year. In addition to this work, some interns are working on updating and building databases, creating new programs and doing maintenance work on servers.

Among the 15 technology department interns are eight Lynnwood High School students:

Thao Nguyen (LHS ’11)

Liam Ollivierre (LHS)

Kimberly Castaneda (LHS ’11)

Lindsey Gahan (LHS ’11)

Jennifer Schmitz (LHS ’12)

Dana Seyoum (LHS ’11)

Radu Cracut (LHS ’12)

Pete Van Klaveren (LHS ’12)
