In preparation for the Lynnwood City Center Link Light Rail Station, the HOV/direct access ramp from Interstate 5 to the Lynnwood Transit Center will be closed beginning 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, to perform underground utility work. This closure will be in effect until 4 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18.
The transit center will still be accessible from 48th Avenue West, off 200th Street Southwest. Commuters and buses will take alternate routes to reach the transit center and travel times may be increased by approximately 10 minutes. Drivers are advised to plan ahead and leave plenty of time to reach their destination.
Additionally, the former temporary parking lot at Lynnwood Transit Center will be fenced off to begin construction in that area. Early stages of fencing will be in place as early as Nov. 8.
