Police seeking man who robbed three convenience stores

Snohomish County sheriff’s detectives are looking for a man wanted for three recent robberies at convenience stores – two in unincorporated Lynnwood and one within the city limits.

The first robbery happened on Aug. 8 at 11:23 a.m. at a mini-mart in the 20900 block of Cypress Way in unincorporated Lynnwood. The suspect walked in the store, flashed a knife and a plastic bag and demanded cash. He left with an undisclosed amount.

The second robbery happened on Aug. 19 at 9:34 p.m. at a mini-mart in the 6100 block of 176th St. SW in the city of Lynnwood. A suspect with the same description showed a knife and a plastic bag, demanded cash and left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Then on Sept. 5 at 11:02 p.m., a convenience store was robbed in the 3600 block of 164th St. SW in unincorporated Lynnwood. Once again, the suspect walked in the store, displayed a knife, a plastic bag and demanded cash. Once again, he fled on foot after getting an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was hurt in any of the robberies.

The suspect is a black man in his 20s or 30s, more than 6-feet tall and weighs between 230 and 260 pounds. In each of the robberies he has worn dark clothing.

Police say the suspect might be associated with a white Ford Mustang made sometime after 2000.
