Police arrest suspect in convenience store robberies

Police have arrested the man suspected in a string of convenience store robberies in the Lynnwood area.

The 26-year-old Lynnwood man was taken into custody at his home last Friday in connection with the Aug. 19 robbery of a store in the 6100 block of 176th Street SW.

Snohomish County Sheriff’s detectives say the same man is a suspect in the other two local robberies – one on Aug. 8 (20900 block of Cypress Way) and one on Sept. 5 (3600 block of 164th Street SW) — although he has not yet been arrested for the other two robberies.

In all three cases, the robber flashed a knife and left with cash. Surveillance footage of one of the robberies is below.
