With temperatures soon headed to the high 80s, it’s a perfect time to check out Lynnwood’s two spray parks.
North Lynnwood Park (18510 44th Ave. W.) and Daleway Park (19015 64th Ave. W.) both are open for the summer and have water sprays that are operational from noon to 6 p.m. daily (weather dependent).
These two neighborhood parks featured Snohomish County’s first spray parks when they were built in 1970. In 2009, both spray parks were renovated with local funding and a state recreation grant. The old concrete structures were removed and replaced with new spray features that are colorful, safe and fun. The flow-away system is designed to be “low-flow” to conserve water.
Supervision is not provided – enjoy at your own risk. Turn on water at activation bollard. No running or horseplay in spray pool area. No bikes, skateboards or rollerblades.
