Crossroads Appliance closes its doors for good

Just three months after the Maytag Store on Alderwood Mall Boulevard became Crossroads Appliance, the store has closed for good.

In May, the owner of Crossroads Appliance in Bellevue purchased six Maytag Stores around Puget Sound and changed their name. Not long after that they closed the Puyallup and Tukwila stores. Then earlier this month, the remaining stores closed their doors. At the time the company said it was only temporary, but a notice posted on its website today said they won’t be reopening.

After careful consideration and discussions, it is with sadness that we announce the closing of Crossroads Appliance and TV, Inc. We have been working closely with our secured creditors to structure a plan to meet our obligations to everyone based on their legal standing, including our customers. Unfortunately, at this time we are struggling to meet all of our obligations.

Having said that, if you purchased an appliance from Crossroads that hasn’t been delivered, please send your request for delivery or a refund, in writing, to:

Crossroads Appliance
PO Box 1040
Renton, WA, 98057

Include copies of your invoice and method of payment. We are making progress on responding to these requests; however, we have very limited human and financial resources and it may take as long as 60 days to process every request. If you have left a voicemail with Crossroads, we will call you back by the end of this week with more information on your situation.

The appliances have already been cleared out from the Lynnwood location.
