Deadline to apply for city’s Economic Development Advisory Group is Friday, April 4

The city of Lynnwood is seeking individuals interested in joining the newly formed Economic Development Advisory Group.

The Advisory Group will advise and make recommendations to the city regarding economic development strategies. Advisory Group recommendations will be used by the city to update the Lynnwood Economic Development Action Plan.

Anyone interested in serving on the Advisory Group is invited to apply. Applicants must have a strong interest in Lynnwood’s economic development; residency in Lynnwood is not a requirement.

The Advisory Group will meet at least once a month, and members will be asked to attend these meetings and be an active participant. The day and time of the meetings will be determined by the Advisory Group. The Advisory Group is anticipated to begin in Spring 2014, and members will serve for up to 24 months. Final Advisory Group members will be appointed by the Mayor.
