Dicks' Drive-In poll ends Sept. 19

Dick’s Drive-In announced today that the online poll on where to build the next Dick’s Drive-In will be ending Sunday, Sept. 19.

As of this morning, over 96,000 people had voted in the poll. The north end still leads with roughly 47 percent of the vote.

“We have been humbled by the phenomenal response,” says Jim Spady, vice president of Dick’s Drive-In Restaurants and son of co-founder and namesake, Dick Spady.  “We are excited to hear from our customers who are so passionate about Dick’s burgers and fries.”

Dick’s is also asking customers to submit videos about why they should build the restaurant in their city. Check out the video pitch below from someone in Lynnwood.

Our neighbors in Mountlake Terrace are lobbying hard for a Dick’s Drive-In there. According to MLTnews.com, city officials met with Dick’s owners to go over maps and traffic studies, as well as a proposal for where to locate the restaurant (244th Street SW just east of 56th Avenue West). So far we’ve heard of no such effort in Lynnwood.

  1. Dick's in MLT is a horrible idea. The proposed location is only 8 miles from the Holman Road Dick's. Lynnwood should get it being at the nexus of 405 and I5. They can serve the entire south snohomish county area AND the northern eastside.

  2. No, it shouldn't be in Lynnwood…Lynnwood is a crap hole…Terrace isnt much better but the location sounds good. The Terrace High School kids would wear that place out…..and yocto, only 8 miles from the Holman road location?? That isnt close
