Dozens of people camped out at the Alderwood Mall Apple Store early Friday morning, awaiting the release of the latest iPhone model. One customer estimated the line at about 60 people.
The Lynnwood store is the northernmost in Washington state and gets a lot of Canadian customers.
PC Mag reports pre-orders have made the iPhone 4S the company’s most successful iPhone so far. AT&T says it had more than 200,000 orders within the first 12 hours of pre-availability, which began last Friday.
The latest iPhone offers a faster processor and better camera, among other features.
