Overnight drive-by shooting on 200th St SW in Lynnwood; no suspects in custody

10:15 a.m. Update: Lynnwood Police are still searching for the suspect and the motive behind this morning’s drive-by shooting. The man who was not injured, a 30-year-old man from Auburn, did not provide a suspect description to detectives. “At this point the events leading up to this shooting are unclear, but it does appear to be an isolated incident,” Shannon Sessions with Lynnwood PD said. The victim remains in critical condition.

7:10 a.m. Update: The victim has been identified as a 32-year-old Seattle man. He’s in critical condition at Harborview. The Everett Herald is reporting he and another man were visiting a nearby home and were walking to a store when he was shot. Shannon Sessions with Lynnwood PD says the shooting doesn’t appear to be random but police aren’t ruling it out.

6:45 a.m. Update: Police dogs from Lynnwood PD and Washington State Patrol are at the scene. Still no arrests have been made. Police don’t know yet if this was a random shooting or if the victims were targeted.

Officers say two men were walking about 1:30 a.m. when someone drove up and shot at them. One man was taken to Harboview Medical Center. His condition is unknown.

No one has been arrested and no suspect description has been released.

As of 5:30 a.m. police are still on the scene. Check back for developments.
