Driver killed in offramp rollover

A 43-year-old Vancouver man died in a crash on Interstate 5 in Lynnwood in the early morning hours of Jan. 31, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Our news partner, the Seattle Times, reports that the man was driving a Ford pickup south on the I-5 offramp for Interstate 405 when witnesses say the vehicle drifted off the roadway, hit a sign and rolled multiple times down an embankment, according to Trooper Mark Francis.

The driver was wearing a seat belt but was partially ejected, Francis said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
