It was a clean getaway for the robber who hit a dry cleaners in James Village on Wednesday morning.
Just after 8 a.m., the guy walked into the store, showed a firearm and demanded money from the female employee inside. He then fled the area with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police immediately set-up containment around the shopping center and nearby neighborhoods. A K-9 unit was used to search for the robber but the track ended in a nearby parking lot.
Witnesses describe the suspect as an average-build white man in his late 20s or early 30s, clean-shaven and wearing a black beanie cap and puffy black jacket with a gray stripe near the chest.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Detective Sean Gillebo at 425-670-5622.
