Video: DUI arrest in Lynnwood

Here’s a video of a DUI arrest in Lynnwood during this past Fourth of July weekend. (Click here for the original story.) Lynnwood PD was one of several agencies participating in emphasis patrols to catch impaired drivers that weekend.

Officer Chris Breault pulled over a suspected drunk driver, who blew a .094 on the Breathalyzer and admitted to smoking marijuana earlier in the evening. Because the 31-year-old driver has not yet been found guilty of a crime we chose to blur out her face.

  1. why give her so many chances to walk right?Give her the breathelizer and get it over with.I think that its cause the cop knew he was being recorded he treated her with kid gloves. give me a break i wasnt born yesterday! age 46

  2. Hi Dena –

To be fair, Lynnwood PD officers, like many other departments. are always being recorded during traffic stops. They have windshield-mounted cameras that automatically record everything. These were pretty typical field sobriety tests that are conducted before a breathalyzer.
