Edmonds Community College’s Workforce Development and Training, in partnership with the Boeing Co., is sponsoring an Ethics Challenge 8:30-11:30 a.m., Friday, Nov. 22, at the school’s Black Box Theatre.
In the event, five teams of five students from Business Management classes — in a quiz show format — will learn about ethics through live scenarios. Each team will have seven minutes to discuss its given scenario and three minutes to report answers.
Both Edmonds Community College and Boeing will supply judges.
“This is a great partnership with Workforce Development and Training and the Boeing Company to promote learning in the area of business ethics,” said Business Management instructor Marie Tran. “It’s an interactive learning environment utilizing teamwork, communication, human relations, and critical thinking skills.”
Boeing executives and managers, as well as the college’s leadership team, will be present at the event. All members of the five teams will be invited to tour Boeing on Dec. 6.
The event is free and open to the public. There will be door prizes. For more information about the Ethics Challenge, contact Marie Train at firstname.lastname@example.org or 425-640-1637.
