Edmonds Community College’s Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences Joan Penney will be moderating a Lynnwood City Council and Mayor’s question-and-answer forum at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 16 in the college’s Black Box Theatre.
The forum is free and open to the public
Each candidate, after giving a brief introduction, will have an opportunity to address a wide range of issues that affect Lynnwood.
The statewide primary election is Aug. 6. The top two vote-getters in each race will advance to the general election on Nov. 5.
Here are the candidates, the majority of whom are confirmed to attend. Those who do not attend are allowed representatives in their place, but representatives will not be able to participate in the Q-and-A.
