Edmonds Heights K-12 receives 5th Avenue Theatre award for ‘Urinetown’

Screenshot (349).pngEdmonds Heights K-12 was recognized for outstanding direction for its production of Urinetown during the 5th Avenue 2016 Awards honoring high school musical theater Monday night, June 6, in Seattle.

Productions from Edmonds Heights, Meadowdale and Lynnwood high schools were nominated for awards in a variety of categories based on performances during the 2015-16 school year. Evaluators saw 104 productions in Washington state and recognized those that received top marks.

The 5th Avenue Awards are presented every year as a part of the 5th Avenue Theatre’s education programs. You can see the list of all winners at the 5th Avenue Theatre’s Facebook page here.
