The Hazel Miller Foundation has again awarded the Edmonds School District Alumni Association a $30,000 grant to be used for scholarships for students graduating from district high schools in June 2014. There will be two $2,000 scholarships for a male and female at each of the five district high schools and two $5,000 scholarships for a male and a female from any one of the high schools.
Seniors may pick up the application forms from their high school career or scholarship center by mid-January.
An additional grant of $1,700 from the Hazel Miller Foundation helps the Alumni Association with the mailing of one of their two newsletters a year. If you are a graduate of any of the Edmonds School District high schools and would like to receive the newsletter, send your name, address, high school, year of graduation, and email address to Linda Fitzgerald atfitzdl@aol.com.
