Edmonds School District’s Science Material Center looking for volunteers

The Edmonds School District’s Science Materials Center is looking for volunteers to help provide inquiry-based science kits to the district’s elementary school classrooms.

Volunteers are needed to assist with various projects at the Science Materials Center, such as assembling materials for science kits and assisting with various material preparation tasks. Volunteer opportunities are available between 9 a.m.- 2 p.m., Monday-Thursday.

The science kits are delivered to classrooms in a pre-prepped and ready to teach manner. The center provides science materials to 400 classrooms and over 10,000 students.
