Ethan Allen is moving to the former Talbots Outlet space, which closed in the last few months.

A company spokesperson would only tell us that “Ethan Allen Design Center in Lynnwood is relocating to 2617 196th St. SW in late summer 2011.”  That’s the same strip mall as Old Navy, Barnes and Noble, and Pier 1 Imports.

The spokesperson did not provide any additional information so it’s unclear why the furniture store is moving from a standalone store on Alderwood Mall Blvd. just east of 44th Ave. W.  to a storefront.

The renovation of the new store is currently under way.
