2016 Beauty of the Northwest Exhibition

Gallery North presents the seventh annual Beauty of the Northwest Exhibit. This year’s show features 71 works of art by 45 Northwest artists. The Beauty of the Northwest exhibit is the perfect opportunity for those who collect and appreciate art – a fresh, creative look at our corner of the world by many gifted local artists.
The exhibit opens to the public August 1st. The artists’ reception will be at Gallery North on Sunday, August 7 from 1 to 4pm. Awards will be presented at 2:00pm on August 7. Theresa Goesling, co-owner/instructor of “Make Every Day a Painting” International Workshops and president of the Northwest Watercolor Society, will select and present the awards for the Beauty of the Northwest exhibit.
A second reception will be held during the Edmonds Third Thursday Art Walk event on August 18, from 5 to 8pm. The public is invited to both the August 7 and August 18 free events to enjoy refreshments and meet many of the artists represented in the show.
Gallery North will also participate in the Wine Walk, sponsored by Art Walk Edmonds, on Saturday, August 27 from 5-8pm. For Wine Walk information and tickets, visit www.ArtWalkEdmonds.com.
