Art Reception: “Transcendence” Featuring Photography and Digital Artwork by Anne Prather

Gallery North announces the opening of “Transcendence” a solo show by photographer and digital artist Anne Prather. Born blind, Prather’s cataract surgery at age 36 opened a whole new world of vision to her. Anne explores the underlying rules of beauty in nature through her photographic images and with the fractals and forms she generates digitally.

The Artist’s Reception for “Transcendence” will be held Sunday, September 13 from 1-4 PM. You also can meet Anne and other gallery members at the Edmonds Art Walk on Thursday, September 17 from 5-8PM. This exhibit is open to the public seven days a week September 1-30.
