After finishing two Christmas Bird Counts in December, Pilchuck Audubon will begin the new year with a different subject: Bat Night in Everett, presented by Ruth Milner, biologist with the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. Ruth will provide information on the status of bats in Washington State and report on White Nose Bat Syndrome and what folks can do to try to control the problem and prevent the spreading of diseases in bats including rabies.
