Community Program, Crown Jewell Wilderness: Creating North Cascades Park

The North Cascades National Park Service Complex celebrates it’s 50th anniversary in 2018. Author of Crown Jewell Wilderness Lauren Danner spent more than 6 years researching and writing the history of this wilderness National Park. Come learn the fascinating story of politics and the wilderness movement that shaped the creation of this National Park. Danner is an Olympia based writer, hiker and historian.
