Gallery North Features Artist Lonni Rae Flowers in “Flora, Fauna, Land and Sea”

In August, Gallery North is featuring the artwork of Lonni Rae Flowers. This award-winning artist displays her love of nature through richly colored paintings in watercolor, silk, and acrylic. The show will include more than thirty of Ms. Flowers’ artworks, as well as many of her hand-painted silk scarves and unique jewelry creations.

“Flora, Fauna, Land and Sea” introduces many new pieces by Lonni Flowers, including her African animals with abstract impressionist backgrounds and several impressionistic ocean scenes. Her approach to jewelry has taken an “earthier” direction and features handmade beads and natural stones as focal pieces.

Meet the artist and enjoy refreshments during the opening reception for “Flora, Fauna, Land and Sea” on Saturday, August 5th from 2 to 5 pm at Gallery North. There will be a drawing for a uniquely-created gift of art. Ms. Flowers will also be at Gallery North during Art Walk Edmonds on Thursday, August 17th from 5 to 8 pm. “Flora, Fauna, Land and Sea” is open to the public daily through August 31st.
