“Gifts of the Season” Show Features Local Artists

For the month of December, Gallery North features “Gifts of the Season.” Gallery North is an artist-run fine art gallery in downtown Edmonds, exclusively representing the work of local artists. This month, the gallery’s artists have created items perfect for gift giving – everything from hostess gifts, art calendars, seasonally-themed cards, and ornaments to fine art and artisan craft items. Shop from the Christmas tree for ornaments, stocking stuffers, and small gift items. Gift-wrapping service also is available. Shop local and feel good knowing that your purchases help support local artists and the local art community.

Downtown Edmonds is especially beautiful in December with the trees and windows along the streets lit. It is an inviting, low-stress way to shop during the holiday season. Events such as the tree lighting, caroling, and the Holiday Trolley enhance the charm of Edmonds at this time of the year.

The public is invited to two special events at Gallery North during December – the Artists’ Reception Sunday, December 4 from 2-5pm and a reception during the Edmonds Third Thursday Art Walk, on December 15, from 5-8 pm. Refreshments will be served at both events. Come meet the artists, enjoy the art, and make progress on your holiday shopping list.

Gallery North is open 7 days a week. The gallery, located at 401 Main Street in downtown Edmonds, is open until 8pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from November 25 through December 23 for your holiday shopping convenience
