Hello Summer!

Jun 1, 2022 - Jun 30, 2022

For the month of June, Gallery North is proud to present “Hello Summer!”, a special guest exhibit by the Puget Sound Group of Northwest Artists(PSGNWA).

Summers in the Pacific Northwest are a magical time–long days with more sunshine and opportunities to enjoy the beautiful area we call home. This show will feature paintings, drawings and sculpture that align to the creative theme of “Hello Summer! ”These pieces will each in its own way communicate feelings, thoughts, or observations about the summertime. Running from June 1-30, the exhibit is open to the public daily from 11-5.

Puget Sound Group is comprised of visual artists residing in the Puget Sound region, including printmakers, paste lists, multimedia artists, painters using various mediums on a flat substrate, sculptors, and more.

“Hello Summer!” was juried by Mitchell Johnson, an artist who often explores summertime themes in his work and who is external to PSG and the state of Washington. Mitchell Johnson selected the artworks based on the pieces that demonstrate a mastery of drawing, composition, color and technique, as well as a theme related to summer. The selected art demonstrates an original concept and execution based solely on the artist.

There will be a “Meet the Artists” reception on Saturday, June 4th from 1-4, also during Art Walk Edmonds on June 16 from 5-8 pm, and during the Edmonds Summer Wine Walk on June 25th.

Gallery North has been in operation for more than 60 years, continuing its mission to promote and sell local art in the heart of beautiful downtown Edmonds. We are located at 410 MainStreet in Edmonds, open seven days a week. For further information, please visit the Gallery North website at or call the gallery at 425-774-0946
