Puget Sound Festival of Bands

The Puget Sound Festival of Bands will be at Everett Memorial Stadium on October 26th , 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. 14 Bands (and counting) will perform and compete in four divisions. They will be adjudicated by nationally recognized judges. This is an interesting combination of competition, musicianship, the band director’s vision and the music from the composer. And of course, there are the marching bands: composed of kids ranging in age from 15 to 18, along with their varying skill levels. For some bands, this will be their biggest venue. These kids embody precision, musicianship and choreography. They march in all weather and field conditions. And they march with an attitude. In short, what we have here, is the very essence and very best of small town culture.
