Pop! is a program that explores the influences of pop culture on wind band music. The centerpiece of the program is the iconic “Rhapsody in Blue” by George Gershwin, featuring grammy-nominated pianist Duane Hulbert (retired professor of music at University of Puget Sound).
Other featured composers include Björk, John Mackey, Michael Gandolfi, and William Grant Still.
