Skandia First Friday Dance

From 7:30-8:30 pm, Judy Patterson and Jerry Walsh will teach the lively Gammalpolska från Föllinge. A man named Ernst Grip is credited with preserving over a dozen and a half dances from this parish in central Jämtland. The Gammalpolska has proven to be one of the most popular. Come join us as we unravel the mysteries of the frammes, a step that is unique to this wonderful dance! We have not yet finalized the music for the October 5th dance, but we’ll put notice on the Skandia website as soon as we have made arrangements. Please check the website for updated information.
