Keep Our Waters Clean!
A Volunteer Opportunity for All!
WHEN: July 29th, 10 AM – 1 PM
WHERE: Council Chambers, Mukilteo City Hall (11930 Cyrus Way, Mukilteo WA 98275)
Come join WSU Beach Watchers and keep pollution out of Puget Sound by placing “No Dumping; Drains to Sound” medallions in Mukilteo neighborhoods. The pollution that flows into many of our storm drains from our streets, yards and parking lots goes untreated into our local waters! This impacts the fish and wildlife that live there, but can also restrict our access to clean water on marine beaches. We have it in our control to reduce this pollution source.
Help us share the message that Only Rain Is Allowed Down the Drain by signing up to help out on July 29th, or signing up to for your own event this summer! Contact onlyrain.indrains@wsu.edu or (425) 357-6029. There are limited kits for the July 29th event, so please RSVP in order to participate.
