Whole Foods Market stores throughout the Seattle metropolitan area will donate 5 percent of sales on Wednesday, June 11th to the North County Relief Fund. The funds will go directly to support the families and victims affected by the 530 Oso Landslide.
This is part of a larger initiative by Whole Foods Market to give back to its local communities. Community Giving Days, or “5% Days”, are held at the stores several times throughout the year. On these days, five percent of the store’s net sales are donated to a local nonprofit or educational organization.
