The Lynnwood Library hosts a presentation by Seattle Times arts journalist Tom Keogh about about Sherlock Holmes, his creation by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and why we, as a culture, remain so attached to a character invented in 1886.
The program, Dr. Doyle & Mr. Holmes: The Cultural Staying Power of Sherlock Holmes, is scheduled for 2 p.m., Jan. 19 in the large meeting room at the library.
The program is made possible by Humanities Washington’s Speakers Bureau and funded by the Friends of the Lynnwood Library.
