Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 354 calls the week of Sept. 30 – Oct. 6, including the following calls in the Lynnwood area.
September 30
BRUSH FIRE. At 4:54 a.m., firefighters responded to a brush fire in the 20900 block of 17th Pl. W. east of Lynnwood.
October 2
COLLISION. At 3:05 p.m., a car crashed into a garage in the 200 block of 176th Pl. SW east of Lynnwood. Firefighters transported the driver to Swedish/Edmonds.
COLLISION. At 10:43 p.m., firefighters transported one patient to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett after responding to a three-car collision on northbound I-5 south of 164th St. SW.
October 3
COLLISION. At 2:42 p.m., firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds after responding to a two-car collision at 153rd St. SW and Ash Way north of Lynnwood.
October 4
COLLISION. At 7:01 a.m., firefighters responded to a truck that went through a fence and down an embankment, coming to rest in the yard of a home at 207th Pl. SW and 80th Ave. W in Edmonds. No one was injured.
TRAILER FIRE. At 10:32 a.m., firefighters responded a travel trailer on fire outside a home in the 11100 block of 6th Ave. W south of Everett. The 25-foot trailer was engulfed in flames, and fire was extending to a detached garage when firefighters arrived. No one was inside the trailer or the garage at the time of the fire. There were no injuries. The trailer was a total loss. The fire also damaged siding on the garage and the house. Damage is estimated at $10,000. The Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s office determined the electrical fire started in an air-conditioning unit on the roof of the trailer.
COLLISION. At 12:29 p.m., firefighters took one patient Swedish/Edmonds after responding to a two-car collision at 164th St. SW and 6th Ave. W west of Mill Creek.
COLLISION. At 12:31 p.m., firefighters took one patient to Northwest Hospital after responding to a two-car collision on northbound I-5 south of 44th Ave. W.
CAR FIRE. At 4:49 p.m., firefighters responded to a car fire in the parking lot of a restaurant in the 8400 block of 244th St. SW in Edmonds.
October 5
DUMPSTER FIRE. At 8:56 a.m., firefighters responded to a fire in a Dumpster at Voyager Middle School south of Everett.
COLLISION. At 10:20 a.m., firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds after responding to a two-car collision at Larch Way and Poplar Way north of Brier.
