Agents from the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms are now investigating the theft of 100 handguns from Lynnwood Gun and Ammunition last week.
A spokeswoman told the Everett Herald, “serial numbers from the stolen firearms will be entered into a federal database, and the guns will be flagged if they’re recovered or sold to a pawn shop.” She said it’s more likely the guns will circulate in the black market.
The store owner did not have an security cameras. Lynnwood Police say he is cooperating with the investigation.
