Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 319 calls the week of March 7-13: 242 emergency medical aid calls, 24 motor vehicle collisions, 24 fires, 7 service calls, 3 natural gas leaks, 1 hazardous materials call and 18 automatic fire alarms.
COLLISION: At 4:09 p.m., a two-car collision was reported at 226th Street SW and 86th Avenue W in Edmonds. One person was injured and was transported by firefighters to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.
COLLISION: At 12:07 p.m., a two-car collision was reported at 100th Avenue W and Edmonds Way in Edmonds. Two persons were injured and both were transported by firefighters to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital.
COOKING FIRE: At 9:40 a.m., firefighters responded to a small fire that broke out on a stove top in an apartment in the 3200 block of 132nd Street SE south of Everett. The apartment complex was equipped with a sprinkler system, which extinguished the fire before firefighters arrived. No one was injured.
COLLISION: At 6:38 p.m., firefighters responded to the Mountlake Terrace Recreation Pavilion for a report that a pedestrian was struck by a car. The pedestrian received minor injuries and was taken to Swedish Hospital in Edmonds in a privately owned car.
COLLISION: At 10:33 p.m., firefighters transported one patient to Swedish/Edmonds Hospital after responding to a collision at 220th Street SW and 76th Avenue W in Edmonds.
TRAILER FIRE: At 12:37 a.m., firefighters extinguished a travel trailer fire in the 20600 block of Cypress Way east of Lynnwood. No one was injured.
CAR FIRE: At 8:36 a.m., firefighters extinguished a car fire in the 9600 block of 220th Street SW in Edmonds. No one was injured.
COLLISION: At 9:05 a.m., a car struck a tree in the 6100 block of 219th Street SW in Mountlake Terrace. Firefighters transported one person with minor injuries to Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland.
COLLISION: At 2:31 p.m., a head-on collision was reported in the 12520 block of 46th Drive SE south of Everett. Firefighters transported one patient with minor injuries to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
