Shred your papers and recycle electronic items at 1st Security Bank on Saturday, Sept. 21

MyNNNThe Lynnwood branch of 1st Security Bank will host a shredding and electronic waste recycling day from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21.

The bank is encouraging people to help reduce identity theft crimes by recycling sensitive documents and/or electronic items no longer in use.

People are invited to bring up to 10 boxes or bags of paper for shredding and up to 10 of the following electronic items (per person) to be recycled free of charge: TVs, CPUs, computer monitors, laptops and cell phones. A list of acceptable items is available on the bank’s website, www.fsbwa.com.

Early arrival is recommended as shredding is on a first come, first served basis until the truck is full. Documents will be shredded on site, while you watch.

The Lynnwood branch is located at 19002 33rd Avenue W.
