Free citizenship course offered at Lynnwood Library

Whether you are just starting to apply for citizenship or already have an interview date, a free six-week class will help you prepare.

The class is free and is taught in English by a library volunteer. The deadline for online registration is May 7. The six-week session runs each Tuesday, May 7- June 11 Space is limited and online registration is required.

  1. i think that this is a great idea – i was born in this country and when i arrived in lynnwood and wanted to participate in the local government i found i was always shut down – there is no ‘free speech’ in lynnwood, at least that is my finding at city council meetings and the council did little o protect that, so called ‘right’. i find it hard to believe that the city is sponsoring – more or less – a course on citizenship. but then the natives of this land were forced to assimilate by the powers to be and they, too, had no free speech. IMHO the government in lynnwood appears to be a dictatorship.
