Free Comic Book Day happens the first Saturday in May each year, when participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their stores.
Brian Meredith, co-owner of The Comic Stop in Lynnwood, told the Everett Herald he’s bringing in about 30 different comic titles, including reprinted classics and brand-new stories for collectors, too.
The Lynnwood store (3333 184th St SW in H-Mart Plaza) also will have toys and shirts for 50% off and back issues for only 25 cents each.
