Lynnwood turned up the defensive pressure in the second quarter, outscoring Kamiak 23-2 en route to a 60-33 victory in a Wesco 4A girls basketball game Friday at Lynnwood High School.
Mikayla Pivec scored a game-high 20 points to lead the Royals (10-0 in the league, 14-1 overall). Teammates Jordyn Edwards scored 11 points and Kelsey Rogers added 10 points.
Lynnwood takes on Jackson at 7:15 p.m, Monday, Jan. 27 at Jackson High School.
