The Girls Who Care Club hosted a charity fashion show March 19 to benefit Washington Kids in Transition, a non-profit that provides basic needs to homeless children within the Edmonds School District.
According to organizer April Haberman, the girls modeled clothes from Rogue, hair was done by Bellissimo Beauty Bar, and many raffle items were donated by local merchants, including Nama’s Candy, Slate Salon and MODA Salon, etc. The girls raised over $6,000 for Washington Kids in Transition; guest speaker was Washington Kids in Transition Executive Director Kim Gorney.
This is the third consecutive year that the Girls Who Care Club has hosted a community event with proceeds benefiting a local charity.
