Green Thumbs Book Group to discuss Monet’s Garden

The Green Thumbs Book Group will discuss Impressionist painter Claude Monet at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 27 at the Lynnwood Library.

Monet repeatedly painted his garden at Giverny from 1883 until his death in 1926. He said, “Gardening was something I learned in my youth. I perhaps owe having become a painter to flowers.”  The group will explore Monet’s garden through his art and his biography. Read a title from the list below and come prepared for a lively discussion and gardening camaraderie.
