Operation Warm and Ready will be hosting a Halloween party on Thursday for less fortunate kids in the area. It’s being sponsored by Lynnwood Rotary, The Family Center of South Snohomish County, Housing Authority of Snohomish County and Whispering Pines.
There will be games, treats and glow sticks. Free children’s winter coats, hats, bike helments, dental exams and toothbrushes will be available. Flu shots can be purchased for $15.
Thursday Oct. 28, 6 – 8 p.m.
Whispering Pines apartment complex (18201 52nd Avenue West, Lynnwood)
Participating organizations include Lynnwood Rotary, The Family Center of South Snohomish County/LCSNW, Lynnwood Police, Academic Link Outreach, Sno-Isle Library, Community Health Center, Lynnwood Kiwanis, A New Day Church and Snohomish County PUD.
