Stroller striding Moms and Dads, decked out doggies, adorable babies and more than 1,000 enthusiastic walkers from Snohomish County gather for the annual March for Babies celebration on April 25 at Langus Riverfront Park in Everett at 9 a.m.

WHY:             

Funds raised by participants will enable the March of Dimes to help moms before, during and after pregnancy get the information and support they need to have healthy babies. And if something goes wrong, the March of Dimes offers information and comfort to help parents cope with premature birth, a child with a birth defect or the loss of a baby.  The March of Dimes researches the problems that threaten the health of babies and works to prevent them.

The 2015 March for Babies is sponsored nationally by the March of Dimes number one corporate supporter Kmart, Famous Footwear, Macy’s, Cigna, United Airlines and Mission Pharmacal.
