Mountlake Terrace police detectives are investigating a stabbing that left a 20-year-old man dead in the 6300 block of St. Albion Way early Saturday morning, March 29.
Police were called to the residence at 1:48 a.m. Saturday after a woman called from her locked bedroom to report a male roommate with a possible fatal wound. The male suspect, another friend, was reported as having run from the residence, police said.
Shortly after receiving the initial call from the resident, 911 operators received a call from a 20 year-old Mountlake Terrace resident who told them he had just “killed his friend.” The suspect was cooperative and was taken into custody by officers moments later, police said.
Officers and medics who responded to the residence found a dead 20 year-old man with significant stab wounds.
The suspect was booked at the Snohomish County Jail and charged with second-degree murder.
